Interface Master Module (IMM) (trial / discontinued) (click to return)
The IMM was a trial interface module to test whether the modular concept was feasible. The IMM was made from acrylic plastic with a aluminium firewall. The hinged lid was made from clear acrylic plastic. Connection with the hardware was by VGA straight-through cables. The module was cooled with a high capacity 12 Volt fan.
The IMM included a rudimentary Interface Alert System (IAS) which was a forerunner to the current IAS.
This module is not in use and its components have been recycled.
