The second platform, which is the final platform, is made form boxed aluminum. The platform has been made in modules to facilitate moving the platform (if required). By using a modular format the platform can added to as desired. The floor is made from 3 mm thick acrylic plastic and has been painted grey in colour.
The black coloured are the linkages between the Captain and First Officer yokes and columns. The various springs are heavy duty tensile sprogs used to replicate the correct forces for the yoke, column and rudder pedals.
